Andacor SA said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to a loss of 325.67 Chilean pesos per share, compared with a loss of 271.80 pesos per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 480.2 million pesos, compared with a loss of 400.8 million pesos in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 47.7% year over year to 27.5 million pesos from 18.6 million pesos, and total operating expenses climbed 16.6% from the prior-year period to 751.0 million pesos from 644.3 million pesos.
Reported net income came to a loss of 609.0 million pesos, or a loss of 413.00 pesos per share, compared to a loss of 513.1 million pesos, or a loss of 348.02 pesos per share, in the prior-year period.
As of May 29, US$1 was equivalent to 619.00 Chilean pesos.
