KKR closes $2.2B technology-focused fund

Private equity firm KKR & Co. Inc. closed the KKR Next Generation Technology Growth Fund II SCSp on $2.2 billion.

The firm plans to invest over $265 million in the fund alongside investors through its balance sheet and employee commitments.

The fund will make growth equity investments in the technology space in North America, Europe and Israel.

It is expected to commit over $50 million in equity to each investment in areas including enterprise software and data services.
