Cuu Long Fish Q2 profit climbs 43.1% YOY

Cuu Long Fish JSC said its second-quarter normalized net income amounted to 258.63 dong per share, an increase of 42.5% from 181.45 dong per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 4.76 billion dong, a gain of 43.1% from 3.33 billion dong in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 2.1% from 1.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 52.4% year over year to 319.40 billion dong from 209.58 billion dong, and total operating expenses grew 53.3% year over year to 302.70 billion dong from 197.40 billion dong.

Reported net income rose 90.4% on an annual basis to 7.95 billion dong, or 432.00 dong per share, from 4.17 billion dong, or 227.81 dong per share.

As of July 21, US$1 was equivalent to 21,817.50 dong.
