Boston Properties buys Waltham, Mass., campus for $106M

Boston Properties Inc. bought the 880 and 890 Winter St. office campus in Waltham, Mass., for $106 million in cash.

The two-building class A property spans 28 acres with 392,600 square feet and sits next to the real estate investment trust's 1 million-square-foot, 58-acre Bay Colony property.

The acquired asset is 82% leased to about 24 tenants primarily in the healthcare, technology, services and energy infrastructure sectors. Amenities include two cafes, a large outdoor seating area, a fitness center, a conference center and parking space.
