O-TA Precision Industry Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to a loss of 11 Taiwan cents per share, compared with a loss of 4 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of NT$13.4 million, compared with a loss of NT$4.3 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to negative 2.6% from negative 0.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to NT$981.5 million from NT$1.03 billion, and total operating expenses declined 9.5% on an annual basis to NT$968.6 million from NT$1.07 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of NT$14.1 million, or a loss of 12 cents per share, compared to a loss of NT$10.6 million, or a loss of 9 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
