Columbia Sportswear appoints three new executives

Active outdoor goods company Columbia Sportswear said Dec. 4 that it appointed Melissa Dugan as vice president and chief accounting officer and Jennifer Warner as vice president of legal.

Dugan will report to Jim Swanson, the company's senior vice president and chief financial officer, while Warner will report to Peter Bragdon, its executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel.

Dugan was most recently with Nike Inc. as the senior director of global accounting-indirect source pay, according to Dugan's profile on LinkedIn, while Swanson was most recently vice president of compliance and chief development officer for the Ashe Legal Group and Asheworks Inc., according to Columbia.

In addition, David Soriano has assumed the role of vice president of footwear manufacturing and relocated to the company's Portland, Oregon, headquarters, Columbia said. Soriano, who previously served as general manager of Asia footwear in Zhuhai, China, will report to Tom Cusick, executive vice president and COO of the company.
