China accepts mining license application for Griffin Mining's Caijiayang Zone II

Griffin Mining Ltd. said Aug. 8 that the Chinese Ministry of Natural Resources accepted the mining license application of subsidiary Hebei Hua' Ao Mining Industry Co. Ltd. for Zone II at the Caijiaying mine in China.

Griffin Mining said the ministry should approve the license within 40 days of lodgment date with a 10-day extension to that period in certain special situations.

The Caijiyang Zone II has 19.6 million tonnes of mineral resources consisting of 3.3% zinc, 0.7% lead, 24.6 g/t silver and 0.3 g/t gold as of Dec. 31, 2018, according to the company's website.
