Deutsche Börse AG is looking to hire 200 more staff for its Cork, Ireland, operations in the next two years as business grows in its post-trade services arm, Clearstream, The Irish Times reported.
The stock exchange operator plans to transfer to a new building in the Irish city to allow space for current and potential future employees, with the new office slated to be completed by March 2019, the Feb. 28 report said. Philippe Seyll, co-CEO of Clearstream, reportedly said the proposed expansion will entail recruiting for the group's fund processing operations, product development, accounting, finance, business management and IT.
Deutsche Börse acquired its current office from administration provider Citco in 2014, with 300 employees transferring to Clearstream soon after, the newspaper noted. Clearstream now has 362 employees in Cork.
