Trading activity declines at online brokers in November

Trading activity declined in November at four of the largest online brokers.

Daily average revenue trades, or DARTs, at Interactive Brokers Group Inc. fell by 79,000 to 907,000 during November, while DARTs at TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. dropped by 128,000 to 844,000.

All five of the online brokerages that release monthly details reported a year-over-year increase in total client assets in November.
