H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB on Aug. 20 said it opened an online store on Indian fashion retailer Myntra Jabong India Pvt. Ltd.'s platform.
H&M operates in India through 42 brick-and-mortar stores and its own website. With the launch on Myntra, the company expects to expand its presence in the country's online retail space.
"We see huge potential in India and look forward to making our brand available to new customers across the country. Myntra will be an excellent complement to H&M's existing physical and digital stores in India," said Janne Einola, country manager for India.
H&M will offer about 15,000 fashion items, including those from its collections such as H&M Studio AW'19, on the Flipkart Online Services Pvt. Ltd.-owned online retailer's platform.
