Hurricane Energy PLC kept its production guidance at approximately 11,000 barrels per day from the Lancaster field for the second half of 2019.
Production is expected to fall in the second half due to the next phase of project commissioning, according to a Sept. 2 news release from the U.K. focused oil and gas producer.
The Lancaster field has an average production rate of approximately 14,400 bbl/d from first oil on June 4 to its latest lifting on Aug. 17. The lack of a subsea flowline earlier limited production and activities planned to boost understanding of the reservoir's performance.
Total crude oil liftings from the field reached 1.2 million bbl in three cargoes.
Hurricane Energy has a 100% stake in the project.
The company reported an after-tax loss of $60.9 million in 2018, compared with an after-tax loss of $7.0 million a year earlier.
