Adobe Systems net income jumps 26% to $501.5M

Adobe Systems Inc..'s net income rose 26% to $501.5 million, or $1 per share, in the fourth quarter ending Dec. 1, 2017, compared with $399.6 million, or 80 cents per share, in the year earlier.

Revenue rose 25% year over year to a record $2.01 billion. Revenue from Adobe's digital media segment reached $1.39 billion, with Creative and Document Cloud posting record quarterly revenues of $1.16 billion and $235 million, respectively.

Looking ahead, the company raised its fiscal 2018 revenue target to $8.725 billion. For the first quarter of fiscal 2018, it expects an adjusted profit of $1.27 per share, on revenue of $2.04 billion.
