Providence Strategic Growth Capital Partners LLC, an affiliate of global asset management firm Providence Equity Partners LLC, named Bill Aliber and Brian Shin as managing directors.

Aliber most recently was CFO at Providence Equity Partners-backed Ascend Learning, an educational content, software and analytics provider. Shin most recently worked as a partner at strategic investment firm In-Q-Tel, which aids the U.S. Intelligence Community in its missions.

Providence Strategic Growth provides growth equity investments in lower-middle-market software and technology-enabled service companies, mainly in North America.
