Partners Group to acquire majority shareholding in EyeCare Partners

Swiss private equity firm Partners Group Holding AG agreed to make a majority equity investment in St. Louis, Mo.-based medical vision services provider EyeCare Partners LLC, with the company's management team and physician partners retaining a substantial stake.

The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020. Financial terms were undisclosed.

Following the investment, Kelly McCrann will continue to serve as EyeCare's CEO, and Partners will work closely with the acquired company on strategic initiatives to support ongoing organic and acquisitive growth.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represented Partners Group in the transaction.
