Workers in the San Fernando logistic warehouse of Amazon.com Inc.'s Spanish arm intend to go on a two-day strike on March 21 and March 22 over a wage dispute with the e-commerce company, Reuters reported March 13, citing a release by Spanish trade union Comisiones Obreras.
The union said Amazon allegedly plans to block salary increases and reduce wages and payments for employees working during weekends or holidays, according to the report. Around 1,100 workers are expected to join the protest.
Amazon Spain said it had already spoken with the unions directly, the report added.
