FedEx grosses $1.24 billion from debt offering

FedEx Corp. raised gross proceeds of $1.24 billion from an offering of 4.750% senior unsecured notes due Nov. 15, 2045.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital and repurchase of securities.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Mizuho Securities USA LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Regions Securities LLC, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC were the lead underwriters.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., CL King & Associates Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. also served as underwriters for the offering.
