Delta Air Lines grosses $997.3 million from debt offering

Delta Air Lines Inc. raised gross proceeds of $997.3 million from an offering of 2.875% senior unsubordinated unsecured notes due March 13, 2020.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital and investment in securities.

Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. were the lead underwriters.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Guzman & Co., Natixis Securities Americas LLC, Williams Capital Group LP, UBS Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC also served as underwriters for the offering.
