JinkoSolar posts 21.2% increase in Q2 solar module shipments

JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. on Aug. 30 reported solar module shipments of 3,386 MW for the second quarter of 2019, an increase of 21.2% from 2,794 MW in the second quarter of 2018.

The company reported non-GAAP net income attributable to ordinary shareholders of 202.9 million Chinese yuan, compared to 106.7 million yuan in the same period a year ago.

Non-GAAP diluted earnings per American depositary share were 4.872 yuan in the second quarter of 2019, compared to 2.708 yuan in the second quarter of 2018.

Revenues totaled 6.91 billion yuan, an increase of 14.1% from 6.06 billion in the second quarter of 2018.

For third quarter of 2019, the company estimates its total solar module shipments to be in the range of 3.2 GW to 3.5 GW. For full year 2019, the company is targeting total solar module shipments in the range of 14.0 GW to 15.0 GW.

As of Aug. 29, $1 was equivalent to 7.14 Chinese yuan.
