Kristal Kola Q1 profit climbs 6.3% YOY

4912359 said its first-quarter normalized net income was 285,990 lira, a gain of 6.3% from 268,920 lira in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 1.4% from 2.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 73.2% on an annual basis to 20.4 million lira from 11.8 million lira, and total operating expenses increased 70.6% from the prior-year period to 19.7 million lira from 11.5 million lira.

Reported net income grew 28.0% on an annual basis to 364,670 lira, or 1 kurus per share, from 284,790 lira, or 1 kurus per share.
