Ajinomoto changes the names of its North American businesses

Japanese seasoning manufacturer Ajinomoto Co. Inc. said Feb. 26 that it is changing the names of its three North American subsidiaries and rolling out a new global brand logo.

The company said it wants to create brand consistency and better visibility in the region. The new logo, which features a red script rendition of the letters Aj, plays off the Japanese word for taste, or "Aji".

Effective April 1, Ajinomoto Windsor Inc. will become Ajinomoto Foods North America Inc.; Ajinomoto North America Inc. will become Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America Inc.; and Ajinomoto Heartland Inc. will become Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition North America Inc.
