China Merchants Securities to list 5.5B yuan of bonds

China Merchants Securities Co. Ltd. is planning to list 5.5 billion yuan of fixed-rate notes on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The bonds were issued in two tranches between March 12 and March 13, according to a March 21 release.

One tranche comprises 2.5 billion yuan of 180-day bonds, with a coupon of 5.15%, while the other comprises 3 billion yuan of 365-day bonds, with a coupon of 5.30%.

They are expected to be listed March 22.

As of March 21, US$1 was equivalent to 6.33 Chinese yuan.
