Thailand allows securities firms to trade foreign currencies for clients

Bank of Thailand is allowing securities firms to buy, sell or exchange foreign currencies for their customers, Reuters reported June 14, citing a statement from the central bank.

The new rule is part of the central bank's relaxation of foreign exchange controls to improve the ease of doing business in the country.
