Saratoga Investment enters equity distribution agreement

Saratoga Investment Corp. has entered into an equity distribution agreement under which it may offer up to $30 million of its common shares from time to time.

The common shares may be sold through Ladenburg Thalmann, BB&T Capital Markets and B. Riley FBR Inc. as agents.

Saratoga Investment intends to use substantially all of the net proceeds from the offering to make investments in middle-market companies and for general corporate purposes. The company may also use a portion of the net proceeds to reduce any of its outstanding borrowings. Pending such use, the company will invest the net proceeds primarily in high quality, short-term debt securities.
