Wayne, N.J.-based Valley National Bancorp hired EHS Partners LLC to consult on Valley National's earnings enhancement program dubbed LIFT.

The program seeks to identify areas where operating expenses can be trimmed and to find opportunities to enhance revenue.

LIFT will be conducted over the first half of 2017, followed soon after by its implementation phase.
