Harmony Gold MiningCo. Ltd. said April 13 that it has identified new near-surface zonesat its Kili Tekecopper prospect in Papua New Guinea.
Drilling intersected 584.4 meters at 0.52% copper and 0.35 g/tof gold, including 287.4 meters at 0.56% copper and 0.44 g/t of gold.
Harmony also extended porphyry-related mineralization at depth,intersecting 206 meters at 0.59% copper and 0.42 g/t of gold as well as 376 metersat 0.47% copper and 0.29 g/t of gold.
Harmony also intersected 7.8 meters at 12.98% copper and 11.45g/t of gold.
Drilling at the prospect continues with two rigs. The companywill incorporate these drill results, from 10 holes for 6,820 meters, in an updatedmineral resource estimate in the September quarter.
