Aena SME Q3 profit climbs 15.5% YOY

Aena SME SA said its normalized net income for the third quarter was €2.81 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of €3.09 per share.

EPS rose 15.5% year over year from €2.44.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €421.5 million, a gain of 15.5% from €365.0 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 34.4% from 31.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 7.0% year over year to €1.23 billion from €1.15 billion, and total operating expenses increased year over year to €556.2 million from €548.6 million.

Reported net income increased 11.6% year over year to €504.5 million, or €3.37 per share, from €452.1 million, or €3.02 per share.
