Genting Malaysia names deputy chairman

Resort operator Genting Malaysia Berhad appointed Tan Sri Dato' Seri Alwi Jantan as deputy chairman of the board, effective Jan. 1.

He succeeds Tun Mohammed Hanif bin Omar, who retired Dec. 31, 2018. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Alwi Jantan joined the company in July 1990 as executive vice president.

The company also appointed Lim Keong Hui as deputy CEO, effective Jan. 1. He previously served as a non-independent executive director of Genting Malaysia.
