Verbund's 2018 adjusted EBITDA, revenue decline YOY

Austrian utility VERBUND AG on March 13 reported full-year 2018 adjusted EBITDA of €863.5 million, compared to adjusted EBITDA of 899.7 million in 2017.

Operating results totaled 655.1 million, an increase from 400.1 million in 2017. On a per share basis, Verbund's 2018 earnings totaled €1.25, compared to 87 euro cents in 2017.

Revenue for 2018 decreased to €2.85 billion, from €2.91 billion in the prior year.

The company reported electricity sales volume of 58,908 GWh in 2018, up from 58,518 GWh a year ago.

Cash flow from operating activities amounted to 664.1 million, or 1.91 per share, compared to 640.6 million, or 1.84 per share, in 2017.
