Uranium Energy consolidates Reno Creek, North Reno Creek resources in Wyoming

Uranium Energy Corp. completed an updated estimate for its Reno Creek project in Wyoming to consolidate resources, after completing the acquisition of the adjacent North Reno Creek property in May 2018.

The company said Jan. 15 that it is working on a conceptual mining plan to support a revised preliminary feasibility study, while its geologists are reviewing historical data to assess further potential development in the area.

Reno Creek hosts measured and indicated resources totaling 32 million tonnes grading an average 0.041% U3O8, representing 26 million pounds of contained U3O8.

North Reno Creek comprises almost half of the measured and indicated tonnage, hosting 15.2 million tonnes grading 0.039% U3O8 for 11.7 million pounds of contained U3O8.

Inferred resources are estimated at 1.9 million tonnes grading 0.039% U3O8 for another 1.5 million pounds of contained U3O8.

Aside from Reno Creek and North Reno Creek, the estimate also covers the Southwest Reno Creek, Moore, Bing and Pine Tree deposits.
