DIF Infrastructure V, a fund managed by Netherlands-based DIF Management BV, closed its acquisition of a 203-MW wind portfolio in the U.S.
Macquarie Infrastructure Corp. agreed to sell the portfolio, composed of two projects. The transaction is part of a deal valued at $215 million in which Macquarie Infrastructure will sell a 345-MW operating wind and solar portfolio.
Idaho Wind Partners 1 LLC comprises several wind facilities in Idaho that have been operating since 2011. DIF already owned a minority interest in those facilities. Also included is the 9.9-MW Brahms facility in New Mexico, which began operating in 2014. The output of both the Idaho projects and the Brahms facility is under contract with investment-grade off-takers, DIF said.
Longroad Energy Services will operate and manage the wind projects.
