Whitehorse Liquidity Partners names partner, announces promotions

Whitehorse Liquidity Partners promoted Leah Boyd to partner.

Boyd joined the company in early 2019 as general counsel.

The Canadian private equity firm also appointed Derek Miners as senior principal and head of active portfolio management. Miners previously worked at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. He will lead Whitehorse's active portfolio management.

Michelle Alexander and Tim Lu were promoted to senior associate, while Sean Bak, Imran Champsi, Ronald Cheung, Andrew Gillespie and Andrew Howard were promoted to the associate. Kevin Brown and Alexandra Stawecka-Lacina were promoted as managers, and Ali Diwan and Pallavi Gandhi were promoted to senior fund accountant.

The private equity firm completed 25 transactions with worth $2.6 billion in 2019, it said on announcing the promotions.

Whitehorse provides structured liquidity solutions to the alternative asset class.
