Maori Television to offer WWE programming in New Zealand

New Zealand broadcaster Maori Televisio struck a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. to air WWE shows "Raw" and "SmackDown" on free-to-air TV in English and te reo Maori in New Zealand starting Feb. 24.

Maori Television channel will televise a one-hour version of "Raw" on Saturdays and a one-hour version of "SmackDown" on Sundays. The Te Reo channel will broadcast a te reo Maori version of "Raw" on Mondays, the company said Feb. 15.

Additionally, Maori Television will broadcast WWE highlight shows "WWE Experience" and "This Week" on Fridays.
