Blackrock Gold Corp. said Oct. 6 that it started a two-phase exploration program at the silver-lead-zinc Medicine Springs property in Nevada.
The phase-one program will consist of a scoping-level metallurgical study to determine the best processing option to recover silver.
Following metallurgical testing, the company plans to conduct a drilling program, which comprises four to six reverse circulation drill holes of about 600 feet to 800 feet. The phase-two program will confirm the extent of mineralization under pediment cover to the north, with an estimated cost of US$150,000, the company noted.
