Impac Mortgage CEO, chairman to step down

Impac Mortgage Holdings Inc. Chairman and CEO Joseph Tomkinson will step down from his roles, effective July 31.

Tomkinson will remain a director on the company's board.

Additionally, the board has appointed George Mangiaracina as president of the company, and plans to name him CEO when Tomkinson gives up that position. Mangiaracina joined the company's senior management team as executive vice president and managing director in January 2015.

Impac Mortgage also named Rian Furey COO, in addition to his current role. He joined the company in December 2017 as president of direct lending.
