Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.'s EPIX (US) network inked a long-term distribution agreement with Comcast Corp.
The deal allows Comcast to provide access to EPIX programming across its Xfinity TV, on-demand and digital platforms, the premium network said Nov. 28. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
EPIX subscribers will be able to watch EPIX content live via the Xfinity Stream app.
The agreement comes about six months after MGM completed the purchase of Viacom Inc. and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp.'s joint 81% interest in EPIX.
