Solar Alliance begins construction on 2.4-MW solar facility

Solar Alliance Energy Inc. has begun construction on a 2.4-MW commercial solar facility located in the southeastern U.S. for an undisclosed customer.

Along with providing designing, engineering and construction services, Solar Alliance will also provide on-site training of personnel on the safe operations and maintenance of the facility, according to an Oct. 9 release.

The ground mount project is expected to reach completion by the end of the year. Solar Alliance said the identity of the "Fortune Global 500" customer will not be released until the project's completion.
