Trump may cut aid to UN members over Jerusalem vote

U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to cut financial aid to United-Nations-member countries that oppose his decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, Reuters reported.

The UN General Assembly, comprising of 193 member countries, will meet Dec. 21 to vote on a draft resolution urging U.S. President Donald Trump to withdraw his decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

"They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we're watching those votes. Let them vote against us. We'll save a lot. We don't care," Reuters quoted Trump as saying at the White House.
