Oracle grosses $1.24 billion from debt offering

Oracle Corp. raised gross proceeds of $1.24 billion from an offering of 3.900% unsecured and unsubordinated notes due May 15, 2035.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital, investment in securities, acquisitions or investments, and repurchase of securities.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC were the lead underwriters.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Mizuho Securities USA LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., RBC Capital Markets LLC, Santander Investment Securities Inc., Standard Chartered Bank New York and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. also served as underwriters for the offering.
