EdenvilleEnergy Plc said April 8 that Sally Schofield resigned asnonexecutive chairman for personal reasons and to allow her to manage herpersonal commitments outside the company.

Schofield's contract provides for a month's notice while shetransfers her responsibilities to CEO Rufus Short, who will assume the postwhile options for a new permanent chairman are being considered.
