Intermin Resources Ltd.'s mineral resource at its Anthill gold project in Western Australia grew 60% to 125,500 ounces.
The resource is contained in 2.28 million tonnes of ore grading 1.71 g/t of gold at a cutoff of 1 g/t of gold.
The company said Dec. 18 that its total mineral resource now stands at 9.3 million tonnes at 2.05 g/t of gold containing 609,600 ounces, which recently grew 30% after a resource expansion drilling campaign at the Teal gold project in Western Australia.
Intermin is planning additional resource drilling at Anthill in 2019, including follow-up exploration drilling at the Fire Ant and Tree Ant prospects.
Meanwhile, the company will conduct preliminary in-house mining studies on developing an open-cut mine at Anthill.
