Williams Partners closes $800M senior notes offering

Williams Partners LP closed its public offering of $800 million of 4.85% senior notes due 2048 priced at 99.515% of par, according to a March 5 SEC filing.

Interest on the notes are payable every March 1 and Sept. 1 of each year, starting Sept. 1. The partnership plans to use the net proceeds of the offering for general partnership purposes such as paying down debt and repaying its $750 million of 4.875% senior notes due 2024, according to a previous release.

Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.

Williams Partners is a large-cap natural gas infrastructure master limited partnership based in Oklahoma.
