Lithium Consolidated exploring for lithium in Mozambique

Lithium Consolidated Ltd. became the first ASX-listed company to explore for hard rock lithium in Mozambique after securing two lithium exploration licenses in the country.

License 9167 L and License 9190 L, which span 10,977 hectares, cover areas with historical or artisanal works for tantalite and beryl.

The company said March 25 that its exploration program will focus on defining large and previously unexplored sodalithic-type pegmatites, which typically contain niobium, tantalum, beryl and lithium.
