Sumitomo Mitsui Financial makes management changes

Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. made senior executive appointments.

The bank said Gotaro Michihiro and Masahiko Oshima were appointed deputy presidents and executive officers, effective April 1. Michichiro and Oshima are currently senior managing executive officers.

Meanwhile, Toshikazu Yaku was appointed as director deputy president and executive officer, also effective April 1. Yaku is currently a director senior managing officer, group chief compliance officer and group chief human resources officer.
