Prudential Plc appoints new chief risk officer

Prudential Plc appointed James Turner as its new chief risk officer, effective immediately.

Turner replaces Pat Casey, who will be retiring from Prudential after becoming interim chief risk officer in September 2017 following Penny James' departure to join Direct Line Insurance Group Plc. Prudential also appointed Turner as an executive director.

Turner joined Prudential in 2010 as director of groupwide internal audit and most recently served as the U.K.-based insurer's director of group finance.
