Pareteum Corp. is expanding its cloud communications services to Mexico under a $4.5 million agreement with a national mobile virtual network operator in the country.
The company said in a March 8 news release that it signed a five-year contract to provide its global cloud services platform and connectivity for roaming, airtime, voice and text to the MVNO, which is a joint venture between a social entrepreneur organization and a social capital business focused locally in Mexico.
Under the terms of deal, Pareteum will be paid monthly for every subscriber on the platform and additionally for connectivity services. This new brand is expected to go live by the end of the second quarter.
