Mediobanca sets aside €2B for M&A in 2019

Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario SpA CEO Alberto Nagel said the Italian lender set aside €2 billion for M&A in 2019, Reuters reported Dec. 28, citing La Stampa.

Nagel said the bank's net inflows could amount to €4 billion in 2018, the newswire reported.

According to the report, M&A activity will help the investment bank increase its AUM, especially in the wealth management sector.
