AMC Networks Inc. reached a distribution agreement with fuboTV, a streaming subscription service for live sports and entertainment.
In the coming weeks, fuboTV will add AMC (US), BBC America (US), SundanceTV (US), IFC (US) and WE tv (US) to the Fubo Premier package, which will cost new subscribers $19.99 for the first month following a free, seven-day trial, according to a March 1 news release.
BBC World News (US) will be offered to fuboTV subscribers as part of a pending premium package later.
Also, Fubo Premier subscribers will be able to access AMC Networks' streaming services Sundance Now and Shudder for free. In addition, fuboTV will offer access to AMC Premiere on an add-on basis.
As part of the agreement, fuboTV subscribers will also have access to AMC Networks content via video-on-demand, as well as the ability to use fuboTV credentials to log into AMC Networks TV Everywhere apps and websites.
