China International Capital raises registered capital

China International Capital Corp. Ltd. increased its registered capital to 4.19 billion yuan from 3.99 billion yuan after the issuance of new Hong Kong-listed shares to Tencent Mobility Ltd.

The Tencent Holdings Ltd. unit subscribed for 207,537,059 shares at HK$13.80 per share, representing a 4.95% stake in of China International Capital Corp.

Following the share sale, the Chinese investment bank's total shares outstanding increased to 4,192,667,868 shares from 3,985,130,809 shares.

Tencent Mobility agreed to acquire a 4.95% stake in China International Capital in September 2017.

As of March 23, US$1 was equivalent to 6.31 Chinese yuan.
