Emaar Properties PJSC, in a joint venture partnership with Meraas Holding, launched the second phase of Sidra at the 11 million-square-foot Dubai Hills Estate mixed-use development, located near downtown Dubai, TradeArabia reported.
Sidra offers three- to five-room villas that will range from 3,102 square feet to 4,283 square feet, the report noted. The Dubai Hills Estate master plan will consist of more than 2,000 villas.
Construction on this phase of Sidra villas is expected to be completed by March 31, 2019.
Within developments at Dubai Hills Estate, Emaar Properties last partnered with Meraas Holding on the 2,700-acre Maple 2 project. Maple 2 contained 666 townhouses, high-end retail space, hotels, restaurants and parks. Earlier in February 2015, the real estate major also entered another joint venture with Meraas Holding for the development of the Acacia at Park Heights apartments at Dubai Hills Estate.
The Dubai Hills Estate is part of the planned development of the Mohammed bin Rashid City in Dubai.
