R. C. Core Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 was ¥15.89 per share, a decline from ¥16.15 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥70.0 million, compared with ¥70.6 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 2.5% from 2.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 6.7% on an annual basis to ¥2.81 billion from ¥2.63 billion, and total operating expenses increased 6.9% year over year to ¥2.70 billion from ¥2.52 billion.
Reported net income increased from the prior-year period to ¥70.7 million, or ¥16.05 per share, from ¥69.8 million, or ¥15.96 per share.
